Study at UVa

The UVa has today 26000 students in the degree, the master and in the Ph.D. and in own degrees; 2300 professors and nearly one thousand administrative and services staff. It is formed by four campuses, in Valladolid, Palencia, Soria, and Segovia, and due to its history and tradition, its physical presence, the number of students and the teaching staff, the variety of studies offered and the level of research, the University of Valladolid is an important factor in the development of the Autonomous Community of Castile and León.

In the UVa there are enrolled 180 recognized research groups and twelve university institutes that receive a remarkable number of international projects.

Its Knowledge Transfer Office keeps in touch with more than 350 companies, to which the University of Valladolid offers solutions adapted to its needs. Moreover, the UVa directs through its Scientific Park the promotion efforts of the undertaking and creation of technology-based Companies and corporate spin-off.
